Thanks for stopping by! I’m a wife and mother to four children (all aged 5 and under) in beautiful Colorado Springs. I am a stay at home mom and recently started the journey of homeschooling my oldest daughter (kindergarten), and my 4 year old son (pre-k).
I sometimes wish I had just one hobby I really enjoyed and excelled at. But that just isn’t me. I enjoy learning new things and challenging myself. If it’s something as simple as trying a new recipe, throwing myself out there and getting out of my comfort zone to make new friends, or starting this homeschooling journey with four young kids that seems crazy because most days I don’t even want to get out of bed, I’m going to at least try it, even if I do fail.
I don’t like making mistakes but that is something I do A LOT. I lose my temper, it’s hard for me to forgive, and some days I want to be selfish and do nothing but stuff that is pleasing to myself. The last few years have been a major season of growth, and it has been painful! I wish I could say I have trusted God perfectly with this journey, but that just wouldn’t be true.
But I’m learning and still growing, so I’m choosing to be thankful. To be thankful for the good times and thankful for the hard times. To keep leaning in and facing each day as they come. I hope this blog will be encouraging to others.
You’ll find things relating to wifing, all things kids, homeschooling, homemaking, and anything else that comes my way and I want to share. 🙂
